Blogger vs WordPress

As you know, when I published my website yesterday, it was working on WordPress ( wordpress.com not .wordpress.org) .  And as a WP.com newbie, I had no idea about the problems I might face while editing/developing/templating/publishing a blog @WP.com.  First of all, unfortunately WordPress does not share free domain mapping (moreover; just for mapping it costs 12$/mo) as Blogger. WordPress does not bring any rich widget options, no high community support..etc. Even template editing on WP.com is really annoying (my personal opinion ofcourse) .  And we have to admit, a name as Google behind Blogger is always satisfying the questions in the mind.

Wordpress.com is a companion to Wordpress.org, which is a more complicated version of the software you install on your own server. Wordpress.com is a very straightforward blogging tool. However, it does have more options and flexibility than Blogger.

So I decided to move my blog to Blogger, and changed ( thankfully, I could map my domain -FREE-) my domain settings. I am going to keep posting @Blogger.

But I have to confess; If I had my own hosting, I would download WordPress from WordPress.org and manually configure it. Because WordPress blogging is still the best option for bloggers who have their own hostings. And for the ones who have just domain/ or no hosting, Blogger is the best as a free option.

 I have searched other free and paid blogging systems too and as a result i came back with just one result : Blogger ! (Well, you can search some reviews about Blogging Comparisions on Google)

Here you can get a quick idea about some blogging options ;

 I have no aim to pay for blog hosting or mapping my domain for my blog and also Blogger serving lots of features for free. So ;
God Bless the Google !  ( lol )
