The Last Airbender (2010)

The story follows the adventures of Aang, a young successor to a long line of Avatars, who must put his childhood ways aside and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations.

Avatar : The Last Airbender is the movie based on the famous anime serie Avatar. It is directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan. Shyamalan has succesfull movies like The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, The Signs in his career and he loves to try different things in his movies but I did not expect to see such a terrible movie..

Do not even compare it with the anime Avatar. The movie is totally disappointing. Although Shamalan sometimes bring really bad movies, I thought he could make a good cinema version of anime Avatar. Avatar anime is one of the most popular names in anime cinema. But movie re-make is totally far away to the success.

Actually it looks like a child movie and acting level is totally terrible. Dev Patel the Jamal of Oscar-awarded movie Slumdog Millionaire also playing in Avatar. And also there are a few good names but the movie is far under the expectations..

You can watch this movie if you are an Avatar fan or you have lots of time waste. What you are going to get will be just "disappointement".
